The data base contains information on the diseases and the gaps which have been identified in the availability of tools for their control. This information can be accessed by clicking on the disease name on the right hand side of the screen.
Alternatively, the menu options in the centre of the screen can be used to obtain the prioritisation and gap analysis scores for one or more of the diseases. This menu can be used to select a number of or all disease along with a number of or all categories.
You may then view the diseases by Prioritisation model. If too many diseases are selected, you will be directed to download to Excel.
Use the Scoring criteria option to look at one disease – this option also allows you to submit comments to the DISCONTOOLS secretariat by selecting the Edit Score option at the bottom of the page.
The Prioritisation model (rank by score only) allows you to compare scores of some or all diseases. The Gap Analysis Model allows you to look at gaps in one or a number of diseases.

Where a disease has the checkbox icon 'Available’ after it, the data is on the database. Where this is not the case, we are still working on the disease.
